ACOPS announces major changes to benefit ACOPS
|

|
On January 29, 2017 the ACOPS Executive Committee and the ACOPS Executive Board held their Semi-Annual meeting at the Boston Marriott (Quincy) and made major changes to the organization. The following are the changes made at the January meeting and recent ACOPS Executive Committte changes.
1. The ACOPS National will now cover 1/2 of the fee for all Arbitration cases increased from 1/4 of the fee.
2. ACOPS has established an Annual Scholorship for members children entering college as a freshman.
3. New to ACOPS will be a Political Action Committee (PAC) to assist and enhance the ACOPS National goals and objectives.
4. October 2016 the ACOPS Executive Committee voted to affiliate with lobbyiest Beacon Strategies Group to add and ehance the Massachusetts legiatlative effort.
5. Strike Fund created and added to the ACOPS Constitution and By-Laws by the ACOPS Executive Committte in July 2016.
